Valencia Basket open their fourth consecutive semifinal visiting Baskonia's court

Valencia Basket begins their participation in the Endesa League semifinals moving to Vitoria to play the game 1 of this series at the Fernando Buesa Arena (Tuesday 30, 20: 30h, Fernando Buesa Arena, Movistar Deportes 1). The taronja squad will face Baskonia in the semifinals for the first time after eliminating the FC Barcelona Lassa in quarterfinals by 2-1. However, the paths of these two teams have already crossed in three previous occasions in the Playoff, precedents that until now have always fallen from the Baskonian side. Coach Pedro Martínez regains his rotation of twelve players available with the return to the group of American center Mike Tobey, although maintains the absence of the Belgian base Sam Van Rossom.

 

Pedro Martínez: "Working well we will have our options to win"

Valencia Basket coach, Pedro Martinez, said before his team set course for Vitoria that "we must recognize the difficulty of the work, Baskonia is a tremendously strong team at home and it will be very difficult. But we hope to play a good game 1 and from there work the options we can have, which I think if we play well may exist. The challenge is to make things right and have options to win. And if we do not get it the first day we know we'll have another chance the next day"
